Why UC Davis?  I was looking for a smaller program that offered a family feel. This has held true among residents and faculty. The curriculum is well balanced throughout the entirety of training. Additionally, the rotation schedule offers repetition in clinical experience which allows for reinforced learning. This is also true for the lecture curriculum. Lastly, with the program’s great work-life balance and Sacramento’s proximity to a wide variety of nature spots, there are many wonderful ways to live life.
