Our adult general rehabilitation clinics focus on restoring function to people with functional problems related to neuromuscular injuries or conditions. Typical diagnoses seen in this clinic include stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, cancer or cardiopulmonary compromise. We coordinate the long-term rehabilitation process for patients with spinal cord injuries, cancer, stroke or other neurological disorders, brain injuries, amputations and multiple sclerosis.

What to Expect

Although most patients referred to this clinic have known diagnoses, occasionally some diagnostic work-up is required. We track medical issues related to each patient, but focus primarily on maximizing patient independence and function in concert with the patient's own goals. Typical interventions might include judicious use of therapy services and referral to appropriate community resources.
