Philosophy of Care

I believe in treating the patient holistically and developing a close relationship to tailor treatments to each patient's personal needs.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Sivamani's clinical interests are focused on general dermatology that involves both medical and cosmetic dermatology. In particular he is interested in acne, atopic dermatitis, rosacea, and alopecia which all involve the function of the sebaceous glands.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Sivamani has an interest in the sebaceous glands (oil glands) and how they contribute to the health of the skin barrier and to skin inflammation. His clinical research interests focus on conditions that involve the sebaceous glands such as acne, atopic dermatitis, and the hair follicle.

He has training in both Ayurvedic medicine and Allopathic medicine and he aims to delivery integrative care and perform integrated botanical research. His hope is to reduce the widespread use of antibiotics and develop novel treatment approaches.
