Philosophy of Care

I want to improve the health and quality of life of my patients through a comprehensive treatment approach that is individualized to each patient and based on the best-available medical evidence.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Burnham is clinically active in Primary Care Internal Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine. He is a team physician for local collegiate and professional athletics programs.

His clinical interests include adult primary care, office-based primary care procedures, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, and point-of-care ultrasound.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Burnham has additional interests in graduate medical education, point-of-care ultrasound, and the diagnosis and management of sport-related illness and injury.
