Clinical Interests
Dr. Wiegley is interested in providing high quality care to adults with kidney disease, including critical care nephrology in the hospital, and management of individuals with reduced kidney function in the ambulatory setting. These include chronic kidney disease, inflammatory kidney conditions (glomerulonephritis), electrolyte imbalance, hypertension, as well as long-term kidney replacement therapy such as hemodialysis.
In addition, she is interested in medical education and clinical training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Wiegley's clinical/research interests include: Acute kidney injury and critical care nephrology, Electrolyte disorders, Progression of chronic kidney disease, and clinical aspects of kidney replacement therapy (dialysis) with focus on quality improvement.
