Philosophy of Care

I am dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to people in the Sacramento community. My clinical, academic and research endeavors focus on finding ways to connect with patients and provide treatment for their physical concerns and more, an approach known as “whole person” care.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Campa believes in providing holistic and comprehensive primary care. She specializes in medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, transgender care including management of hormone therapy, women’s health care including Nexplanon placement and removal, integrative mental health care with primary care, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and teaching medical students and Internal Medicine residents.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Campa's research interest focus on diversity and inclusion and interprofessional communication in the healthcare setting.
