Philosophy of Care
The core of high-level specialty care is effective communication with patients, their families and referring physicians. I pride myself on being an effective teacher and listener for my patients.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Avdalovic has general clinical interests in pulmonary and critical care, with a particular emphasis on pulmonary vascular disease including all forms of pulmonary hypertension, acute and chronic pulmonary embolism and emphysema.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Avdalovic has research interests in clinical phenotyping of pulmonary hypertension, clinical informatics with particular emphasis on digital health tools and telehealth, and vascular growth factor expression by respiratory epithelium.
