CMS Required Compliance Training
Medicare Advantage Organizations and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Sponsors) may require their first-tier, downstream and related entities (FDRs) to complete compliance trainings in order to comply with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) training rules. As an FDR of our Sponsors, UC Davis Health fulfills the CMS compliance training requirement by providing the CMS training content to all new and returning employees in the Mandatory Annual Training course. This requirement is not limited to employees who work directly with patients nor to those who work directly with Medicare and Medi-Cal patients.
