Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring

AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) prepares clinicians to care for patients with complex fetal heart monitoring tracings. This course is designed for clinicians who previously completed an intermediate-level FHM or comparable training/course or hold a FHM certification.

Prerequisites

Course Materials

External participants are required to purchase Advanced Course - Student Materials through Kendall Hunt Publishing. This can be either a print book or a digital eBook.  

External participants may choose to purchase the Fetal Heart Monitoring Principles and Practices - Print Book (6th Edition) through Kendall Hunt Publishing if you would like your own personal copy. Please contact Melaney Stricklin at mlstricklin@ucdavis.edu for workshop number.

This class is restricted to D3 University Birthing Suite and OB/GYN clinic employees.

Registration fee $110

Community registrants cancellation must be requested 14 days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $50 service fee will be charged after this date.

Registration Deadline

Registration will close seven days prior to the course date and all pending registrations requests will be cancelled. Walk-ins on the day of the class will not be accepted.

Parking

Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 22, 22 Auxiliary, 30, 30 Auxiliary, Broadway, EDD, and DOJ with either a B permit or daily permit.
