Registration process change

The employee registration process requiring deposits has changed slightly.

  1. Scroll down to Registration, click the "Register" link. This will take you to UC Learning Center where you can register for the class.
  2. Call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit information to confirm your seat in the class. 

The registration process for classes requiring payment has changed slightly.

  2.  Add the class to your shopping cart, enter your information, and check out.

Course description

The presentation objectives are: 1) To provide an understanding of the roles and challenges of caregivers and present strategies for their support; and 2) To educate nurses about financial toxicity statistics and definitions, its impact on patients and caregivers, and potential interventions to alleviate it.

Virtual session requirements

Follow the virtual participation guidelines, including being on camera, engaging in activities, and attesting to participation.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 1.25 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 5 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registration

UC Davis Health employees

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.

Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.

Community registrants

$25 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.
