A Summit on Revitalizing Primary Care to Recenter Relationships and Enhance Health

In October 2024, UC Davis hosted a national summit and expert convening—Rev PC—on advancing primary care locally and nationally, with a focus on “increasing the spend” on primary care. The event convened national leaders in primary care research, policy, and advocacy, as well as faculty and staff working in this space from internal medicine, family and community medicine, pediatrics, public health, and beyond.

Rev PC is proudly sponsored by the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research, Department of Family and Community Medicine, and the School of Medicine

National Primary Care Leaders

Expert committee

An expert committee comprised of 30 national leaders in primary care research, policy and advocacy will convene at the event. The committee will bring their expertise to special sessions for focused discussions on the future of primary care spend and how to advance the Quadruple Aim.

Stemming from Rev PC and follow-on activities, the expert committee will create a high-quality “white paper” targeted for publication in an influential peer-reviewed forum.
