We brought together national leaders in primary care research, policy, and advocacy with the goal of revitalizing U.S. primary care.
In October 2024, UC Davis hosted a national summit and expert convening—Rev PC—on advancing primary care locally and nationally, with a focus on “increasing the spend” on primary care. The event convened national leaders in primary care research, policy, and advocacy, as well as faculty and staff working in this space from internal medicine, family and community medicine, pediatrics, public health, and beyond.
Rev PC is proudly sponsored by the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research, Department of Family and Community Medicine, and the School of Medicine
Following the Rev PC Summit, 30 national experts and thought leaders in primary care continued discussions to revitalize primary care in the U.S. Those conversations culminated in a new report to guide future efforts.
The report summarizes insights from the Summit and outlines strategies to revitalize primary care and improve health policy. It includes seven broad, high-priority recommendations to begin addressing the growing crisis in primary care.
