Gentle Yoga

Dates: Tuesdays, March 11, 18
Time: 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Register for the series through Zoom. One-time registration covers all five sessions. Attend as many sessions as you would like on whatever days you prefer. Registrants will also receive access to limited-time recordings.

Live Mindfulness Meditation

Dates: Mondays through March 24

Grounding Techniques Workshop

This workshop, led by Dr. Tameka Jackson, will incorporate contemplative methods for grounding. Using the "homecoming" theme, participants will use heart-centered practices to help calm the nervous system, increase awareness of their inner resources and learn tools to help better support the mind, body and spirit.

Health Workforce Well-being Day

UC Davis Health champions will come together to celebrate and recognize the vital contributions of health workers and discuss solutions to reduce burnout and protect worker well-being. All members of the UC Davis Health community are welcome to join.

Several events – such as in-person “mindful walks,” a meditation session, and a mental health and well-being resources table – will take place throughout the day.

Infant nutrition and weaning

This presentation on infant nutrition provides a comprehensive evidenced-based guide to feeding practices from birth to 24 months, covering breastfeeding, formula feeding, and the introduction of complementary foods.

The presentation also explores different weaning approaches, including baby-led and traditional spoon-feeding, practical recommendations for introducing allergens, managing choking hazards, and ensuring a nutrient-dense diet for toddlers are included.
