Seismic rating signage to be posted throughout Sacramento campus

In the coming weeks, seismic rating signage will be posted in the Main Hospital, Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion (SESP), Davis Tower and the Central Plant.   

This signage is in accordance with California Assembly Bill (AB) 1882 and the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) Policy Intent Notice 75, intended to raise public awareness of the progress UC Davis Health is making to achieve seismic compliance. 

The signage – 8.5-by-14 inches – will be kept updated with each building’s current seismic rating as we progress towards 2030.
