Sept. 16: Send in your ‘National Tattoo Story Day’ submission

(SACRAMENTO)

The Internal Communications team is seeking submissions for “National Tattoo Story Day,” held annually on Sept. 16.

The day is simply a fun opportunity to share the personal story behind your art and what it means to you. It’s also an effort to get to know fellow UC Davis Health colleagues.

Tattoos often carry deep meanings, representing significant moments, people, or beliefs in our lives. Whether it's a tribute to a loved one, a symbol of a personal achievement, or simply a piece of art that resonates with you, you’re invited to share that story!

Submission Details:

  • Submit a Photo: If you're comfortable, email a photo of your tattoo to InternalCommunications@health.ucdavis.edu.
  • Share Your Story: Write a brief story about the meaning behind your tattoo. Feel free to include any interesting anecdotes or experiences related to it.
  • Deadline: Please submit your stories and photos by Friday, Sept. 12.

Internal Communications will compile all the submissions and share them on The Insider and InsideOut on Sept. 16. This is a great chance to connect with colleagues, learn more about each other, and appreciate the diverse stories within our organization.
