UC Davis Health staff participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s event

Members of UC Davis Health, their family members, friends, and even their dogs, participated in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s event. 

The 2026 event, created by the Alzheimer’s Association in 1989, took place Oct. 3 and began at William Land Park.

UC Davis Health’s team of 25, the “Memory Makers,” raised $1,635 for the organization. This is the organization’s third year officially participating with a team.

“Each year, our team is growing,” said Michelle Johnson, nurse manager and the walk team’s leader. “It was a wonderful event to participate in and I hope more are able to join.”
