UC Davis Health’s annual Halloween costume contest

Who doesn’t enjoy a fun excuse to wear a scary getup, a superhero cape, or dress up as a character from their favorite movie?

Every year, individuals and teams embrace their inner child (or teen) and show up to work in colorful costumes.

Last year, Public Affairs and Marketing organized a costume photo submission contest for the holiday festivities, offering participants an opportunity to win UC Davis Health merchandise. Check out last year’s winners here.

The department is hosting another friendly Halloween costume competition this month. Faculty, students, and staff are invited to submit a photo of themselves—or their team—in their favorite Halloween costume(s) for a chance to win a UC Davis Health swag gift basket.

Contest details

• You (or your team) must be wearing a Halloween costume in the photo.
• When submitting your photo, please provide the following information:
  • Your full name, work title, and department
  • If you are submitting a team photo, please describe whether the picture involves a specific unit/department or if the group includes folks from different units/departments.
• Submit your photo to hs-socialmedia@ucdavis.edu by noon, Monday, Nov. 3.

Please note: If other people are included in the picture, please confirm they approve of the photo being posted on UC Davis Health social media channels.
