UC Davis Health’s Tanja Monroe earns Technician Achievement Award

Tanja Monroe, pharmacy technician III, has received the 2026 Technician Achievement Award from the California Society of Health System Pharmacists (CSHP).
The award recognizes a pharmacy technician with membership in the organization who “provides exemplary service to the pharmacy profession and promotes the advancement of technician roles within the profession.”
“Tanja’s commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in her advanced national credentials, as well as her recent completion of the PTCB Pharmacy Technician Leadership Institute and the Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute (PLEI) Star Framework Certificate,” CSHP announced in a statement.
Monroe also serves as UC Davis Health’s pharmacy technician internship coordinator. She will be officially awarded at an in-person seminar Nov. 7.
