I consider the highlight of my work at UCDMC the performance of a wide variety of complex invasive electrophysiologic (EP) procedures. Of great importance, our patients are experiencing arrhythmia-free survival off of antiarrhythmic drugs after ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
Dr. Pezeshkian's clinical interests are Cardiac electrophysiology, the science of elucidating, diagnosing, and treating the electrical activities of the heart. She is also interested in performing a wide variety of invasive procedures including mapping and ablation of SVT, VT, and atrial fibrillation; device implantation including cardiac resynchronization.
Dr. Pezeshkian's research interests focus on ventricular tachycardia in a normal heart and sudden cardiac death.
