Our faculty are national leaders in their clinical and research work in blood disorders and malignant cancers.  Cancers include thoracic (lung), breast, gastrointestinal, and both male and female bladder and genital systems.  Blood disorders include malignancies, sick cell disease and clotting disorders (such as hemophilia and thrombosis).

Hospitalists are physicians who ensure the highest quality of care to our hospitalized patients. They serve as primary educators/mentors to medical students and internal medicine residents in caring for hospitalized adult patients.
