Philosophy of Care
I seek to understand my patient's perspective including their challenges as well as successes. I strive to integrate standards of care with a personal element that is meaningful.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Waldman’s clinical areas of interest include general infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, prevention and treatment of HIV, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), antibiotic stewardship, and infections in immune compromised hosts. She is the medical director of UC Davis Health's Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy program. Her research interests include HIV medicine and medical education.

Dr. Waldman has a growing expertise in HIV clinical research, teaching and public health with a focused interest in economically challenged groups.
