Philosophy of Care

I adopted a holistic approach in providing care to heart failure patients including those with advanced disease, who have received a heart transplant or mechanical circulatory support device. I also provide care to patients with cardiac amyloidosis and pulmonary hypertension. I will be your partner as we work in a multidisciplinary setting to offer the highest level of care based on evidence-based practices. I will advocate for you as we navigate the various treatment options that are available to you. My mission is to maximally improve the quality of your life with you as an active participant in the management of your illness.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Ebong is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist who provides care for patients with cardiomyopathies of various etiologies, including cardiac amyloidosis and pulmonary hypertension. She also offers care to adult patients who have received a heart transplant or mechanical circulatory support device. Dr. Ebong has a special clinical interest in cardiac amyloidosis and heart failure in preganancy.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Ebong performs epidemiological and clinical research focused on heart failure, including gender and racial disparities that influence heart failure outcomes. She has a special interest in heart failure among women especially during pregnancy and the postmenopausal period. Her research works also include outcomes research related to cardiac amyloidosis.
