Dr. Linderholm’s areas of interest lie in the crossover of lung metabolism and inflammation. She is interested in how metabolic dysfunction affects physiology particularly in diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) lung injury and fibrosis. Additional clinical interests of the lab include asthma, non-invasive markers of airway disease, and nutritional interventions in combination with standard controller therapies for treatment of airway disease such as asthma.
