Philosophy of Care

Scott Anderson, MD, PhD, believes that medical care should be provided in a humane and thoughtful manner to all individuals seeking consultative advice.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Scott Anderson, a rheumatologist with a medical anthropology background, is interested in all aspects of clilnical rheumatology. He writes a column for the Daily Republic newspaper in Fairfield ("Ask Dr. Scott"), and hosts a television show on Davis Community Access Television ("Health Focus with Dr. Scott"). Other interests included servinig as a Medical Director for Para Ti Global, a non-profit dedicated to fostering childhood well-being in Mexico, the Philippines, and other countries.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Anderson's research involves primarily preparing articles and television shows to educate the public relative to health care in the community. Other activities involve travel to Latin America with Para Ti Global, a non-profit organization.
