Philosophy of Care

My philosophy is to provide evidence-based and guideline-driven endocrinology care to my patients in a professional and respectful manner. I believe in the importance of patient-centered care, where my patients and I work together to develop a treatment plan that fits with their values, preferences, and lifestyles.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Teng is a board-certified endocrinologist offering care for adults with various endocrinology conditions, such as diabetes (type 1 and 2), parathyroid and calcium disorders, thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal disorders. She has special clinical and research interests in bone health, with a focus on osteoporosis care in both men and women. Dr. Teng completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) before joining UC Davis as faculty.
