My goal is to provide personalized evidence-based medical care, using the latest and most advanced technology and methods, to address your specific medical needs. We will work together to make sure I answer your questions and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your health goals.  

Clinical Interests

Dr. Kim is a fellowship trained interventional pulmonologist offering minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for lung, airway, and pleural disease. He has also completed a combined fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine and attends in the medical ICU and sees outpatients at the J Street Pulmonary Clinic and at the Pulmonary Cancer Care Clinic in the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has a particular clinical interest in robotic assisted bronchoscopy for the diagnosis of lung nodules and rigid bronchoscopy for central airway disorders.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Kim’s academic work focuses on advanced bronchoscopy, interventional pulmonology and lung cancer. He is interested in evaluating the newest technologies and therapies for the diagnosis and management of lung and pleural diseases. He is also a clinician-educator and interested in teaching procedural excellence in bronchoscopy and ICU-based procedures.
