Assistive Technology

Assistive technology is technology used by individuals with disabilities in order to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible.  Assistive technology includes mobility devices and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), which is the use of methods or devices to increase a person's ability to communicate.
