Favorite thing to do in the Sacramento area?
There are unlimited outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Sacramento offers great access to hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, wine drinking, and anything else you may be interested in.

Why UC Davis Orthopaedic Surgery?
I chose to attend UC Davis for residency because of the excellent surgical training. This program offers a broad and high volume exposure to all areas of orthopaedic surgery. The attendings are excellent to work with and committed to resident education. My co-residents are supportive, hard working, and fun to be around - both in and outside the hospital. Residents who complete this program are well-trained and match into top fellowship programs, but are also more than capable of being proficient generalists, if desired. The program also has a strong relationship with Travis Air Force Base and has created a unique opportunity for active duty Air Force trainees to receive a hybrid residency experience with exposure to both civilian and military orthopaedic care. Lastly, Northern California offers unlimited activities to enjoy outside of the hospital.

My wife and I are kept busy with our twin girl and boy
