This two-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship program prepares trainees to become leaders and scholars in pediatric hospital medicine.

UC Davis Children’s Hospital is a nationally ranked, tertiary and quaternary care center serving Northern California and surrounding regions. As the area's only comprehensive pediatric hospital, it offers fellows a dynamic academic and clinical environment with access to over 30 pediatric subspecialties and strong faculty mentorship.
The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is committed to excellence in clinical care, education, quality improvement, advocacy, and research. The PHM service provides care to approximately 3000 pediatric inpatients annually and serves as the primary service for children with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Faculty include leaders in medical education, advocacy, safety, and health system leadership.
PHM fellows engage in multidisciplinary teaching, simulation, and scholarship, all within a culture of compassionate care and health equity. Fellows benefit from an individualized curriculum and diverse clinical experiences across both academic and community settings.

In addition to the invaluable education gained on clinical and research rotations, fellows will participate in structured educational activities.
