Bio:
Dr. Bo Liu is a board-certified clinician in pharmacotherapy and practices internal medicine at UC Davis Health. Dr. Liu began her pharmacy career in Arizona, after graduating from the University of Arizona in 2011. She went on to complete PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Banner Baywood Medical Center. Following her residency, she worked as a clinical staff pharmacist at the community hospital Banner Estrella in Phoenix, while also precepting pharmacy students from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Liu moved to California in 2017 after accepting a position with UC Davis Health as a staff pharmacist in clinical operations, where she precepted hospital operations rotation for UCSF pharmacy APPE students.  After a year, she joined the general medicine team. She is actively involved in Nursing-Pharmacy Medication Safety committee.

Dr. Liu is passionate about pharmacy precepting. She was Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice with Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale. After moving to California, she was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor with UCSF School of Pharmacy. Dr. Liu has completed Clinician Educators Program – a post-graduate teaching & learning curriculum with Midwestern University College of Pharmacy. She was also selected into the Master Preceptor Program with UCSF School of Pharmacy and completed the program with 2019-2020 class.
