Bio:
Dr. Erika Cutler earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2001 and completed a pharmacy practice residency at UC Davis Medical Center in 2002.  At that time Erika moved to Alaska where she worked the next couple years as a pharmacist in an independent outpatient pharmacy.  From 2004-2006, Erika worked on a grant, as a writer of Treatment Options Reports back at UC Davis with the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care. The goal of the project was to assemble objective information on drug treatment for common medical conditions in a comprehensible form, sufficient to support the best possible treatment decisions by prescribers and health care administrators at the least cost to patients and society.   In 2006 she assumed her current position as the Coordinator of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.  In this position she precepts pharmacy residents and students in monographs, medications use evaluations and research projects.  She is a member of several committees and smaller task forces aimed at improving medication use and decreasing cost to patients and the healthcare system.
