Practice Philosophy:
As an inpatient clinical operations pharmacist, part of my practice is to ensure that all medications get to the patient in a safe and timely manner. Each day, I think about how I can help improve processes and workflow to optimize the care that we do for our patients.

Bio:
Dr. Gretchen Marcelino graduated pharmacy school in 2017 at Touro College of Pharmacy - New York and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in 2018 at NYU Langone Health – Long Island. She also obtained her Teaching Certification from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, New York. Her pharmacy career at UC Davis Health (UCDH) began in 2019 where she currently works in clinical operations as a Staff Pharmacist II. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy and seeks interest in obtaining her board certification in critical care. She enjoys working with students and residents and would like to expand her teaching experiences here at UCDH as part of the ASHP Residency Program and the Mentorship Program.
