Bio:
Dr. James Catlin is a clinical pharmacist in the Emergency Department at UC Davis Medical Center (UCDMC). Dr. Catlin joined the UCD Health team in 2015 as a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice resident after obtaining his PharmD from the University of Florida. In 2016, he specialized in emergency medicine by completing his PGY-2 Emergency Medicine residency at UCDMC, and then accepted a career position in 2017 focusing on emergency medicine and surgical services.
Throughout his career, Dr. Catlin became a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist, was appointed a voluntary faculty position as an Assistant Clinical Professor with the UC San Francisco School of Pharmacy, and was awarded the Residency Preceptor of the Year for the 2018-2019 year. His research has been presented at national conferences including the American College of Medical Toxicology Annual Scientific Meeting and the Society of Critical Care Medicine Congress.
