I believe all pharmacists should prioritize advocating for excellent patient care while ensuring all medication therapy is optimized and individualized.

Bio:
Dr. Kassi Bugg graduated with her PharmD from Wilkes University. She went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento.
Following completion of her PGY-1 she accepted a role in the @Goal/PHASE (Preventing Heart Attacks and Strokes Everyday) program at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist. In 2018, Dr. Bugg became Preceptor Subcommittee Chair of the PGY-1 residency at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento. In 2019, she was promoted to Lead Pharmacist in the @Goal program.
After 5 years with Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Bugg started with UCDH in April 2021 as the Centralized Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Services (CCPS) supervisor. She is currently supervising the centralized refill pharmacist team and the anticoagulation pharmacists.
