Dr. Thomas (TJ) Gintjee is a Staff Pharmacist at UC Davis Health who works primarily with the Hospital Medicine Faculty Service. He is originally from Southern California but traveled out to the Midwest to experience actual seasons and complete his PharmD at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). After graduating and shoveling snow out of one too many driveways, he then returned to California to complete his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at UCSF Medical Center and his PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency here at UC Davis Medical Center. Following completion of his PGY2 residency, he accepted a position with UC Davis Health to help build a decentralized pharmacy service for the Hospital Medicine Faculty Service.
