Research/Academic Interests

Throughout her career Dr. Dugger has been the interface to the fields of neurology and neuropathology and has focused on clinicopathological correlates to investigate disease heterogeneity.

Her research focuses on:

  1. Understanding heterogeneity within neurodegenerative diseases.
  2. Understanding the interaction of peripheral changes to aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
