Philosophy of Care

I love taking care of children and feel privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of a child’s life, whether it be from the time they are born, to the time the graduate high school, or for just a day when they have a cold. I have a passion for teaching families so that everyone can understand what is going on and why certain things are being done. I believe in positive parenting and hope to foster an encouraging and supportive environment with my families by remembering that we are all doing our best.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, exercising, baking, and reading.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Hoang has done quality improvement research in Nepal and has an interest in improving the health of children in developing countries.
