As a UC Davis Health employee that may engage in online conversations, please remember the following:
- HIPAA prevents UC Davis Health employees from posting anything about patient and family complaints. Patients and family members who have complaints about their health care should be referred to Patient Relations to address their concerns.
- Follow all applicable UC Davis Health policies and all patient privacy policies. Do not post any confidential information about UC Davis or our patients. Posting any personal information about patients or workforce members, including but not limited to their full name, address, phone number, etc., without their permission is also prohibited.
