  • Comprehensive Cancer Center Grand Rounds - The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Grand Rounds is a monthly lecture series held during the academic year that brings nationally and internationally recognized luminaries from all disciplines of cancer research to discuss their vision of how their respective fields might unfold in the future and share their pathway to a fulfilling career in cancer research.

  • Internal Medicine Grand Rounds - The Internal Medicine Grand Rounds program takes place every Thursday from noon-1 p.m. in the PSSB Auditorium, Room G300. Visit the Internal Medicine Events Calendar to confirm dates.
  • Neurology Grand Rounds - Neurology Grand Rounds are held Tuesdays from 1-2 p.m. via Zoom or WebEx. To be added to the neurology grand rounds listerv or for access to archived videos, please email Bailey Mathews at bamathews@ucdavis.edu.
  • Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds - Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds are held on the first Tuesday of each month from noon- 1 p.m.

  • Orthopaedic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery hosts Grand Rounds from 7-8 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at Shriner's Hospital.   • Pathology Grand Rounds - The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Grand Rounds are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Pathology Building, PATH 1002.
  • Pediatric Grand Rounds - Pediatric Grand Rounds are held every Friday from 8-9 a.m. via WebEx and in person at the Patient Services Support Building (PSSB) Auditorium, Room G0300.
  • Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Surgery hosts Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds from 7-9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Cypress Building. For dates and event information, please visit the CME Education Calendar and search for "Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds".

  • The Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship serves as a springboard for innovations developed in university, corporate and national labs programs. The institute helps faculty, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduates, as well as scientists working outside academia — to see the path from cause to effect and to recognize in themselves the ability to walk it. Offerings include Entrepreneurship Academies, Big Bang! Business Competition, and Business Development Fellowships.
  • InnovationAccess in the Office of Research provides services that connect research to the marketplace and is focused specifically on protecting and commercializing intellectual property as well as fostering entrepreneurship within the campus community. UC Davis’ Venture Catalyst facilitates the translation of university research and technology by driving the development of new ventures.\
  • Industry Alliances under UC Davis School of Medicine Office of Research, arranges and facilitates meetings to pitch industry partnership with key prospective partners. It evaluates and negotiates lease agreements with any approved domestic and international industry partners.

  • Faculty and Professional Development offers leadership programs that provide opportunities for faculty to develop and enhance their leadership skills, gain insights from accomplished leaders and engage with each other in a supportive environment.
  • Faculty Leadership Academy is a workshop series offered by Academic Affairs for faculty with tenure or security of employment who have demonstrated the potential for leadership and who may aspire to join the ranks of academic leaders. Nominations are solicited from each Dean, and eligible faculty may also nominate themselves.

  • The Mentoring Academy for Research Excellence focuses on disseminating mentoring best practices for faculty in the health sciences. Workshops for mentees and mentors address how to foster an environment that values and supports mentoring in research, education and career progression. 
  • Graduate Studies Mentoring Resources lists mentor and mentee opportunities and resources for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. 
  • A Mentoring Toolkit for mentors and mentees at all career stages is offered by UC Davis Health Human Resources. 

The Project Management Certificate Program is offered by Continuing and Professional Education and is a rigorous, reality-based program designed to give working professionals the practical knowledge, tools and techniques that can be applied in their jobs the very next day.
