Construction activity: East Wing new sewer ejector pumps and waste line cutovers

Thursday, Jan. 16, through Saturday, Jan. 18, the East Wing Seismic Upgrades team will complete waste line cutovers from the existing sewage pump to the new sewage pumps.

Please note the following details of this activity:

Phase 1

  • The waste cutover work will take place on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 16 to the morning of Friday, Jan. 17, beginning at 9:30 p.m. and completing at 3:30 a.m.

  • The impacts to the East Wing include limited use of sinks, showers, floor drains, mop sinks, etc. in the Basement and Level 1.

  • Please see these floor plans outlining the work. Areas in yellow are where the construction will be taking place. Areas highlighted in blue are the specific areas that are affected by the waste cutovers.

Phase 2

  • The waste cutover work will take place on the evening of Friday, Jan. 17 to the morning of Saturday, Jan. 18, beginning at 9:30 p.m. and completing at 3:30 a.m.

    The impacts to the East Wing include limited use of sinks, showers, floor drains, mop sinks, etc. on Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
