The CCEP fellowship at UC Davis Health focuses on the specialty’s core competencies allowing the fellow to achieve excellence in the management of patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias. Trainees will experience a wide range of invasive and noninvasive cardiac electrophysiologic and pacing procedures, radiofrequency ablations, Arctic Front Cryo Catheter System ablations, internal and external cardioversions, laser lead extractions and tilt table studies. The trainee is given the opportunity to pursue cutting edge research projects mentored by renowned faculty at the Medical Center (Sacramento, CA) and the School of Medicine campuses (Davis, CA).
UC Davis Health, the only academic health center in California’s vast Central Valley, spans 65,000-square-miles, 33 counties, and 6 million residents. Patients are ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse. Referrals for invasive and noninvasive electrophysiology studies that are not offered at community hospitals in our region allows for a high volume of varied cases.
Our comprehensive training program provides the procedural volume, clinical support, mentoring and flexibility necessary to develop our fellows into future leaders and experts in the expanding field of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

UC Davis Health CCEP Fellowship Training Program is an affiliate of the Electronic Residency Applications Service (ERAS). We accept applications exclusively through ERAS. Applications or supporting documents mailed directly to the University of California, Davis, are not acceptable.
We participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for this two-year fellowship. Please contact the NRMP for information on how to sign up for their services.
