As physicians, spending time with our patients to hear their story and learn about them is one of the most precious tools we have. I believe that patients need to have time to tell their story, and doctors need to have time to listen and be present. The patient’s story guides us in our quest to discover, and helps us as we attempt to understand, comfort, and cure.
Dr. Molla is board certified in Internal Medicine and practices as an adult Hospital Medicine specialist that cares for patients who need admission to the hospital for treatment. He works closely with other disciplines such as nursing, and coordinates care with other specialists. He orders diagnostic studies and provides treatment for patients throughout their hospitalization.
Dr. Molla has interests in medical education and quality improvement. As an attending physician, he enjoys teaching medical students and trainees, helping them to appreciate patient care at the bedside, as they learn both the science and the art of medicine. He also enjoys working to improve quality of care, and making systems work to better serve our medical community.
