Dr. Shubha Ananthakrishnan is a board certified adult nephrologist offering care for adults with kidney disease due to diabetes, hypertension, glomerular disease etc. She also cares for patients on dialysis and patients after kidney transplantation. She has special clinical interest in home based dialysis therapies and patient education on various aspects of kidney disease management.
Dr. Shubha has special interest in medical education. She teaches students, residents and fellows at various settings. She is the co-discipline lead for Nephrology and an academic coach, at the UC Davis School of Medicine. She also serves as the Director Curricular Development for the Nephrology Fellowship Program.
