Philosophy of Care

I believe in co-developing care plans with my patients, educate them and involve them in combined decision-making process.

I incorporate positive thinking, mindfulness in counseling process so that patient can cope better with the kidney disease. I believe in delivering high quality care to my patients in most cost-effective approach.

I believe in having good communication with patient and all the providers involved in patient care. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Madan is a general adult Nephrologist offering care for patients with chronic kidney disease and hypertension. She provides care to pre-dialysis patients and in center dialysis and home dialysis patients.

She has special clinical interest in managing patients with glomerulonephritis, AKI, critical care nephrology and electrolyte issues.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Madan devotes her time to the education and training of medical students, nurse practioner students, physciain assistant students, residents and fellows. Her administrative interest focus on mentoring and quality improvement projects. She  has co-authored book chapters in authoritative textbooks in nephrology and has various posters presentations and case reports. Her clinical research interests are critical care nephrology, dialysis and glomerulonephritis.
