I am strongly committed to providing quality patient care with an evidence based approach. As a gastroenterologist, I care for many patients with chronic medical conditions and I have found that the key to providing excellent patient care is to create a solid physician-patient relationship through communication and education.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Cogdill is a gastroenterologist who specializes in several aspects of general gastroenterology including irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and colon cancer prevention. She has a special clinial interest and expertise in gastrointestinal motility disorders including achalasia, gastroparesis, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Cogdill’s research interests include gastrointestinal motility disorders, quality-improvement in colon cancer screening, and Helicobacter pylori infections.
