Philosophy of Care
I strive to practice a comprehensive approach to clinical care, evaluating and incorporating into management all components of the patient's history, exam, and additional contributing life and social factors which may affect care. By doing so, I aim to provide not only excellent medical care but care that is also personalized and specific to the individual patient.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Crabtree is a general infectious disease clinician offering care for adults with various infectious diseases and their complications. He is additionally involved with infection prevention and has a special interest in antimicrobial stewardship to reduce the overuse, misuse, and abuse of our essential antimicrobials.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Crabtree is interested in improving outcomes for individual patients through direct care, and in populations across the board through both the education of future medical providers and the wise stewardship of our important antimicrobial resources.
By empowering front-line primary care providers to make better medical decisions, he hopes to have a broad and lasting impact.
