The quality of care I provide for my patients is a reflection of the diverse nature of my training and experiences. I value patients from any and all backgrounds and my goal is to provide a comfortable and judgment-free atmosphere with good communication as my central tenet.
Dr. Chakrapani is a hospitalist in internal medicine with a diverse range of interests, including global health, critical care, and infectious diseases. She has done medical rotations in Tanzania and Zambia with the hope of pursuing a combined fellowship in infectious disease and critical care.
Dr. Chakrapani's research interests include critical care and projects in global health, including investigation of the high rates of cervical cancer in Guatemala.
