Philosophy of Care

It is my goal with every patient to use our advanced technology judiciously for a three-pronged strategy that needs to be personalized for each individual: first, to minimize or eliminate symptoms strategy and improve quality of life; second, to reduce the risk of cardiac or other vascular events such as heart attacks and strokes in the future; third, to empower my patients to understand their disease and the factors they have in their own control to limit its impact on their own life.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Stripe is a cardiologist who specializes in the management of various diseases of the heart including diseases of the valves, blood vessels, and congenital abnormalities. He has special clinical interest in aortic valve disease, coronary artery disease, and acquired and congenital lesions requiring repair. He also works with the fellowship training program in structural heart disease and cardiac imaging using computed tomography.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Stripe’s research interests involve emerging technologies for the treatment of coronary and structural heart disease. This includes devices to aid in the treatment of blocked coronary arteries, minimally invasive valve replacement techniques, and devices to the reduce the rate of complications related to structural heart procedures.
