I am dedicated to providing high-quality, empathic and culturally sensitive primary care to my patients. I am committed to building patient-centered care plans that empower my patients to live healthier lives.
Dr. Malhotra is an Internal Medicine physician who provides primary care to the underserved communities. She is committed to reforming health systems to address the needs of our underserved communities and reducing healthcare disparities. As a clinician educator, she is dedicated to building a culturally sensitive future clinician workforce that can address the needs of our diverse patient populations.
Dr. Malhotra's primary research interests include designing innovative Quality Improvement initiatives in low-resource settings that address social determinants of health and improve health outcomes. Her research focus includes addressing homelessness, food insecurity, population health, preventative medicine, chronic disease management, diabetes management for Medi-Cal patients and complex care management for the underserved.
