Philosophy of Care

My goal is to provide patients high quality care through comprehensive and thorough evaluation and using evidence based approach. I treat every patient in a matter that I would like my own family members to be treated.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Inaty is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California Davis. She is an Interventional Pulmonologist within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She specializes in minimally invasive methods of diagnosing and staging lung cancer, managing various airway disorders, central airway obstruction and pleural diseases.

Dr. Inaty has completed a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology and has extensive training in performing the following procedures: flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, endobronchial ablative therapies including argon plasma coagulation, lasers, cryotherapy, photodynamic therapy and electrocautery, balloon bronchoplasty, endobronchial stent placement, endobronchial and transbronchial cryobiopsy, convex and radial probe endobronchial ultrasound, navigational bronchoscopy for the diagnosis of peripheral lung lesions, endobronchial valve placement, percutaneous tracheostomy, tunneled pleural catheters, lung and pleural ultrasound, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and bronchoscopic asthma therapy i.e bronchial thermoplasty.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Inaty's research focus is on improving advanced and minimally invasive bronchoscopic techniques for the treatment of lung cancer and various malignant and benign airway diseases. She also has interest in development and validation of plasma biomarkers for discerning the clinical significance of pulmonary nodules and avoiding unnecessary invasive testing.
