To excel as an hospitalist, patient centered care is of utmost importance. Communication is key in providing the best care that respects my patient’s values, cultural traditions and socioecomonic factors. I strive for effective physician-patient communication to build a strong therapeutic relationship. I value the importance of teamwork among all physicians, specialists and medical staff to provide the best quality care for his patients.

Dr. Whang is an internist who is specialized in hospital medicine providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of complex and comorbid diseases. He collaborates with specialists and members of the care team to provide the best evidence based care. He facilitates safe transitions of patient care from the hospital to the community.
